Just Beyond, the freer world awaits...

 A cormorant flies across
 The still, bounded waters of the Dam,
 As the free bird glides over it with ease,
 It seems to chide the water, and tease,
 Just beyond, the freer world awaits...

 My self-adorned shackles,
 Yet bruising the ankles,
 Seem to clang louder, and convey,
 Just beyond, the freer world awaits...

 The weight restricting the freedom,
 Promising to get lighter, as it cries
 Act, consolidate, decide, and quicker
 Just beyond, the freer world awaits...

 A moist breeze caresses
 the towering green mountain;
 The embrace comfortingly says
 Don't worry, just a little beyond, the freer world awaits...
